How verification works

Only verified humanitarian or protection organizations can review cases, and only cases whose owner agreed to share them. Software never decides that someone was forcibly recruited, and AI is never used to verify, to judge guilt, or to label anyone.

  1. Unverified: the report was received.
  2. Under review: a caseworker or reviewer at an assigned organization began assessing it.
  3. Partially corroborated: a reviewer recorded supporting information and a written note.
  4. Verified: a different reviewer independently confirmed it, with a written note.

Reviewers' internal notes are private. Every access to a case is logged with who, which organization, when and why, and people can see a simplified list of organizations that accessed their case.
