Delete your Jack account
You can erase your Jack account and your data at any time.
In the app (the fastest and safest way)
- Open Jack and go to Privacy.
- Tap Delete my account and data.
- Confirm.
It happens at once. If you want a copy first, tap Download my data on the same page.
What is deleted
- your sign-in details, passkeys, sign-ins and backup code;
- your name;
- your check-ins, trusted contacts, location, alerts and notifications;
- your evidence, except any file under a legal hold (the app tells you if there is one);
- your Telegram connection and extra email;
- in reports you made about other people: their names, their stories and your contact details.
What stays cannot identify you: your Case ID, age range, gender, region, status history, and the type, region and month of reports, so public figures stay correct. Server backups are kept for up to 14 days, so anything erased is gone from them after that.
If you cannot open the app
Email aphonemyat736@gmail.com from a safe place. Do not say why you want it deleted.
For your safety, we never delete an account because of an email alone, because anyone could pretend to be you. We will ask you to prove the account is yours first.
